We've Had A Facelift

Exactly one month after the last website launch, Cadmium is doing it again, and this time it's Cadmium's own website! Yes, it was decided that the old Cadmium website just wasn't working as well as it could be anymore and rather than start again with something completely new, I took the good bits and made them better. What do you think?

Much of the fluff has been removed, and the design has been simplified slightly. One of the first things you may notice is the use of a non-standard font throughout the website. Cadmium is experimenting with the new @font-face method of web typography, using hosted fonts rather than the standard system fonts we're used to using. You may also have seen it used on one of our recent client sites, Essentially Green. In the past it was necessary to use images to achieve the same effect, but you'll see that all the text on the website is in fact selectable.

The website's content has been overhauled, and more emphasis has been put Cadmium's recent work and how we can help your business or organisation build a website. We've also connected up Cadmium's various networks including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
